If you play hockey then you have become accustomed to the “hockey stench” of hockey equipment. But did you know that the smell you are so familiar with is really BACTERIA!!!   Hockey equipment that becomes wet from perspiration then placed in a dark enclosed bag breeds dangerous bacteria, such as, MRSA.  When that bacteria enters an abrasion on your skin you may develop a life threatening skin infection.  The only solution to this is to sanitize your hockey gear.

Simply wiping down or airing out hockey equipment will NOT remove the dangerous bacteria.  It is near impossible to completely disinfect hockey gear at home given the different materials.  Using harsh chemicals or water will harm the integrity and quality of the protective gear.

The solution is to have Sports Defenders sanitize and disinfect your hockey gear (helmets, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves,  shin guards, pants,  jock, skates, goalie pads).  We use the Sani Sport ozone cleaning system, which is the identical machines used by over 90% of all NHL teams.  By utilizing the Sani Sport machines, your hockey equipment will be disinfected and your athlete protected!!  This will extend life of the gear and reduce replacement costs.  Doesn’t your athlete deserve to have equipment sanitized like the PROS!!!

Please contact Sports Defenders to sanitize and disinfect your hockey protective equipment and protect your player/goalie from dangerous bacteria!!
